Typical service at pho place. Never been here so thought we'd try it out So review is on the food. We ordered beef pho (regular and Hanoi style), pork chop rice plate, egg rolls, spring rolls and bbh. I didn't try the pork chop rice plate...pho broth was decent. So were the egg rolls and spring rolls. Didn't care much for my bbh broth because they added shrimp Paste in there and I don't like shrimp paste in my bbh. But I was hungry and hadn't eaten all day so I scarfed it down with a soda and white claw. Would I go back? Not sure.
Got a bun rieu to go and it was great! It's one of the most flavorful ones I've had and they are generous with toppings. I got a lot of blood and I loved it. This could be on my part of heating it when I got home, but I do wish the noodles were softer. Might be different sitting in to eat!
Hate walking into a "Vietnamese" restaurant only to find some 'fusion' broth that tastes like dirty sink water? Look to further to get your Phở. This is the legitimate service with a smile, with portions that make you feel honorary. Ha Noi Pho, Thank you 4 all the satisfaction you've brought this city dude and family.
Ambiance is really casual! Lots of tables and chairs and places to sit for families, large groups, couples, etc. Service is fine, we got to sit where we wanted, she brought out waters right away and took our order. Our food came out within 10minutes. The soup was very hot temperature wise so you gotta let it cool down a little so you don't burn your mouth. We got 2 bowls of pho with rare steak, brisket and I ordered a side of meatballs. The soup flavor was mild and the overall dishes were good. Ordered a Thai tea - good flavor and not too sweet. Pretty mild as well.
Chicken Wings! [Elk Grove CA] My second time dining here. The first time was during a UYE held by Alex T in late January 2025. I ordered the Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings with a side bowl of Beef Fried Rice. The wings were a hit and everyone I shared it with in my table unanimously agreed also! I can't remember how many pieces it came with. The wings were flavorful and I loved the crispness of the skin. Craving that salt & pepper chicken wings I came back the following month with my hubby I ordered the same thing while he chose the Grill Meat with Rice Plate. When our food was served it wasn't the same crispness on the wings. It had the same delicious and amazing strong flavors but I longed for the crispy skin. I asked one of the servers and he said it was prepared differently, a much lighter crisp and something like "easy on the teeth"... huh?? ugh! my teeth can handle it LoL! Anyway, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't the same as my first experience but now I know how to order it next time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The restaurant is roomy and spacious and easily accommodate large parties. They also have a covered outdoor patio seating. Good customer service. I'll be back for a perfectly fried salt & pepper chicken wings! Review #3726
